Step 1: Express Interest

Give us a call, send us an email, or fill out a volunteer opportunities form and send it in and let us know you're interested and where you are interested in volunteering .

Step 2: Attend rezlife 101 student ministries orientation

Attend a rezlife 101 student ministries orientation to learn about rezlife with-in the first six months of serving. This orientation will help you understand the mission and vision behind all rezlife student ministries events and weekly activities.

• Sunday September 13th 6:30-7:45pm in room 211
• Tuesday, November 10th 6:30-7:45pm in room 222
• Sunday, February 21st 6:30-7:45pm in room 211
• Tuesday, April 20th 6:30-7:45pm in room 222

Step 3: Observe the Program

We encourage you to observe rezlife ministries.  This is a great opportunity to get a feel for the ministry, meet the rezlife staff, other volunteers, and ask questions. Contact Deborah Comstock at 913-544-0251 to arrange a time.

Step 4:Submit Complete Paperwork

We require that each volunteer complete the following:

• Application for Working with Minors Form (rezlife renews this form every 2 years)
• Volunteer Registration Form
• Volunteer Leader Covenant
• Attend Safe and Sacred Training within the first three months of serving.

Step 5: Begin Serving

One of our rezlife staff will contact you to get you connected in rezlife student ministries.
