July 9th - 15th, 2008

This mission trip is for those students entering the 10th-12th grade in the fall of 2008 and recent 2008 Graduates.

Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita were a 1-2 punch to the Gulf Coast of Louisiana. Many communities were and still are devastated. Several years later, communities are still cleaning up and rebuilding their lives. Church of the Resurrection continues to send volunteer teams to the gulf region. This summer rezlife will join in this effort by sending a team to Lake Charles, LA.

During our mission, we will take on whatever assignments are available at the time of the trip, but hope to focus our efforts on helping homeowners with rebuilding.

No experience is needed, as there are tasks to fit every level of expertise and physical ability.

Cost?

$365.00 per person includes all transportation, meals and lodging.

There is a mandatory informational meeting for all students and adult leaders Tuesday, June 24th in room 304. Adult leaders are meeting from 6:30-7:30pm and Parents, Students, and Adult Leaders are meeting from 7:30-8:30pm.
